Based on its monitoring data of the global mobile market, Insightrackr releases the July 2026 Global AI Social App Rankings for Downloads and Revenue.
This edition of the rankings is based on Insightrackr’s estimated app downloads and total revenue (IAP + IAA), forming the Top 15 AI social apps by downloads and the Top 15 AI social apps by revenue. This report further analyzes core products across ad spend pacing, channel structure, geographic distribution, and ad creative strategies.
This month’s featured case studies include: Aiko AI、Dootchi、Flipped.
Top 15 AI Social Apps by Downloads
The Top 3 on the download chart was not limited to established players. Emochi stayed No. 1, with estimated downloads up 4.59% month over month, while Character AI rose one spot to No. 3 after growing 4.06%, keeping both apps among the category leaders.
The most notable move, however, came from Aiko AI, a new app launched in June that debuted at No. 2 in July.

The middle of the ranking showed both upward momentum and pullbacks. Sea Soul ranked No. 4 after growing 42.85%, while Dootchi climbed five spots to No. 5, up 145.14%. Flipped posted the strongest ranking gain, rising 11 spots to No. 10 with downloads up 77.67%. By contrast, BIMOBIMO and MingloTalk both declined MoM, ranking No. 6 and No. 8, respectively. The split between gainers and decliners shows how quickly mid-tier positions can shift as competition heats up.
Movement continued at the lower end of the ranking. RosieGF entered the chart at No. 12, while EMOCHI World rose nine spots to No. 13. By comparison, Kawaii AI, Saylo, and SoulTalk fell to No. 11, No. 14, and No. 15, respectively, with downloads declining month over month.
Top 15 AI Social Apps by Revenue
The revenue chart showed a much stronger concentration at the top than the download chart. Character AI and Emochi held No. 1 and No. 2 despite month-over-month declines, while Cycle AI ranked No. 3 after growing 23.78%.
Unlike the download chart, where Aiko AI broke into the top ranks after launch, the revenue Top 3 was still made up entirely of established category leaders. This suggests that revenue leadership has a higher barrier to entry.

Established apps also dominated the mid-to-lower range. Flipped rose two spots to No. 6, while SoulTalk climbed four spots to No. 8 and became the only app to record growth, with revenue up 5.37%; the rest declined month over month.
At the lower end of the chart, MingloTalk delivered the most notable growth, rising 17 spots to No. 12 with revenue up by more than 40%. MiraiMind also moved up meaningfully, climbing nine spots to No. 14, although its revenue still declined, as did most apps in the lower range.
Top AI Social App UA Strategy Analysis
01 Aiko AI: Sweet AI Girlfriend
Aiko AI was one of the most notable new entrants on July's download chart. Published by Kaizo Innovation, it launched on Google Play in mid-June and quickly reached No. 2 by downloads.
Its ad creative delivery began to rise in late June and reached clear peaks from early to mid-July, with both active and new creative volume increasing in concentrated bursts during this period. After late July, both of them dropped quickly, suggesting a staged scaling push rather than continuous ad delivery throughout the month.

Aiko AI's ad activity was mainly concentrated on Facebook. After excluding ad library data, TikTok accounted for 100% of tracked ad traffic.
Its main ad delivery markets were India, Bengal, and the United States. Downloads and revenue were both led by India, Pakistan, and Turkey.
With ad delivery, downloads, and revenue all concentrated in South Asia and nearby markets, Aiko AI appears to have quickly validated its growth path through several core channels.
Aiko AI's creatives mainly centered on anime-style virtual characters as the hook.
Through scenes such as a catgirl presenting the mobile interface, or a smiling interaction in a café, the ad made the experience feel light and companion-like. The approach used clearly defined character personas and everyday settings to quickly position Aiko AI as an interactive AI companion product.
02 Dootchi:Emochi Alternative
Dootchi's Google Play version is published by a developer account named HANNAH RENEE KIRK.
Its ad creative delivery ramped up quickly in late June and peaked in early July before gradually pulling back. After the peak, Dootchi appeared to rely more on proven existing creatives, with little sign of continued large-scale creative refreshes.

Dootchi ran campaigns across multiple mainstream channels. Excluding ad library data, AppLovin accounted for nearly all tracked ad traffic at 98.44%, suggesting a highly concentrated channel strategy.
Geographically, the United States was both a major target market and the largest revenue market, accounting for 53.67% of revenue, while downloads were led by Brazil and Mexico. Taken together, Latin America drove download volume, while the United States and Europe carried more monetization value.
Dootchi's creatives used choice-based storytelling and localized chat interactions to lower the user entry barrier and make the experience feel more immersive.
One ad let users tap to choose what happened next and move the story forward. Another placed character responses in local-language contexts, making the interaction feel closer and more familiar.
03 Flipped: Chat with AI Character
In July, Flipped ranked No. 10 by downloads and No. 6 by revenue, making it one of the few apps to improve its position across both rankings.
Its active creative volume remained high from mid-June through late July, with a steady upward trend overall. New creative volume fluctuated at times, suggesting that regular creative refreshes helped support stable acquisition.

After excluding ad library data, Flipped's traffic was mainly split across AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, and Mintegral, at 51.12%, 32.31%, and 14.94%, respectively. Compared with Aiko AI and Dootchi, its channel mix was more diversified, spanning both ad networks and social traffic sources.
The United States was the app's strongest market across advertising targeting, downloads, and revenue. The United Kingdom and France followed in targeting, while Turkey and Mexico were the next-largest download markets. On the revenue side, the United States led with 46.81%, followed by the United Kingdom and Germany.
These signals suggest that Flipped's sustained multi-channel delivery supported download growth, while Europe and North America contributed more revenue value.

Flipped's creatives covered character interaction and photo-to-avatar generation.
One ad showed a user prompting an AI character with "Make a heart" and receiving an instant response. Another walked through the process of uploading a photo and generating a comic-style avatar, combining AI character chat with image generation to highlight playfulness and personalization.
July's AI social rankings point to a market where new apps can still gain download momentum quickly. Aiko AI was the clearest example, rising to No. 2 on the download chart shortly after launch. Revenue, however, remained led by established products. This contrast shows that download growth can move fast, but revenue leadership in AI social apps still depends on stronger monetization foundations.
