Insightrackr has released the mobile game download and revenue rankings for November 2024, based on its global mobile market monitoring data.
The list is sorted according to the app downloads and overall revenue (IAP & IAA), resulting in the Top 15 Mobile Games by Downloads and Top 15 Mobile Games by Revenue, and breaks down the advertising and creative strategies of the hot cases of the month.
Mobile Game Top 15 by Downloads
Among the top 15 mobile games by downloads for November, Block Blast saw a 4.44% increase in downloads MoM, rising two places to top the list this period.
The two games mentioned in the ranking of last month, Mini Games: Calm & Relax and Tik Tap Challenge, which leveraged TikTok's trends to achieve astonishing downloads, ranked 2nd and 4th respectively, with the latter's November downloads more than doubling MoM.
The game with the largest download increase in the list is Pokémon TCG Pocket, a mobile trading card game that was launched at the end of October. It saw a 343.02% MoM increase in downloads in November, successfully entering the list at 3rd place.
The game box of the Indian gaming platform WinZO also had a 156.45% MoM increase, rising 62 places in the rankings.
Mobile Game Top 15 by Revenue
In terms of revenue, Supercell's two products, Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars, swapped rankings but remained at the top of the list.
Pokémon TCG Pocket, capitalizing on the momentum of its new launch, saw a surge in revenue, debuting in the top 10 of the revenue list, with Insightrackr estimating its November revenue to exceed $100 million.
The classic simulation management game Klondike Adventures also experienced a significant increase in revenue in November, with a MoM increase of 1113.39%.

01 Pokémon TCG Pocket
As a mobile TCG (trading card game) under the Pokémon IP, Pokémon TCG Pocket has attracted global attention since its launch.
Not only did it top the free game charts in more than 70 countries and regions on its first day, but the official also announced that its global downloads exceeded 30 million within 10 days.

Insightrackr's revenue forecast data shows that Pokémon TCG Pocket showed a fluctuating state in revenue in the first month after its launch, with several peaks likely corresponding to in-app events, such as Wonder Pick resets and Fire Pokémon outbreaks.
In terms of advertising creativity, like most Pokémon IP products, Pokémon TCG Pocket also highlights popular characters such as Pikachu in its ad creatives to evoke more audience memories and resonate.

According to Insightrackr's monitoring data, the recent advertising creatives trend of Klondike Adventures has only seen a slight fluctuation, with about 400 creatives being active daily, and the download volume has also remained stable at around 50,000 per day, showing the stability of an established product.
However, in terms of revenue data, Klondike Adventures experienced a very long period of revenue growth in November.
Considering that there was no obvious increase in advertising, the reason for the revenue growth may be more due to continuous version updates and promotional activities for Day of the Dead, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday throughout the month.
As a product that has been operating for more than 6 years, Klondike Adventures inevitably includes recall of old players in its advertising creativity. These creatives usually focus on the classic game character images while showcasing generous return benefits such as in-game currency and stamina.

In terms of revenue, Block Blast! also saw several increases in November.
